Queeny Park Bike Trails & Equestrian Trails
NEAREST TOWN: Ballwin (St. Louis County).
DIRECTIONS: Queeny Park is a county park located west on Manchester Road off of 1-270, then right on Weidmann Road.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: The main trail system at Queeny Park is used heavily by walkers, runners, cyclists and equestrians.
HIGHLIGHTS: The Missouri State Cyclo-cross Championships are held here every November.
HAZARDS: There are a lot of dogs walking their owners here.p
AREA INFORMATION: A rare urban location for "legalized" mountain biking. This 569-acre park has 7.8 miles of MTB trails, 1.5 miles of which are paved. Back in the hilly, wooded sections of the park there are additional miles of horse trails with some Jumps. These are also open to mountain biking. This park provides habitat for eagles, hawks, songbirds, turkey, doves, quail, shorebirds, herons and waterfowl. Deer, rabbits and squirrels also abound. Bluegill, carp, catfish and crappie are plentiful.

DISTANCE: Bike trail: 7.8 miles, 1.5 of which is paved. The horse and mountain bike trail is a 20-mile loop.
TERRAIN: Part of this trail is paved and gravel roads. The dirt trail section is moderately difficult.
RIDING TIME: 2 - 4 hours.
LAND STATUS: St. Louis County Park.
SERVICES & ACTIVITIES: Restroom and parking lot. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking are permitted. Camping is not. Seasonal indoor ice rink and outdoor roller hockey rink.
TRAILHEAD: Follow the signs. Stop in the Rec Complex building to look at their trails map.
