SSC GNO “Girls Night Out” Advanced Route Option
Average MPH will be no less than 16mph. Routes do vary from week to week. This is for experienced group riders looking for a faster pace. It is important that all ride participants are riding at the same pace in order to stay together for safety purposes. This ride is open and inclusive that allows all genders, but is focused on empowering women (and those identifying as women) to improve their cycling abilities in a safe and supportive environment.
SSC GNO “Girls Night Out” Intermediate Route Option
Average MPH will be no less than 13mph. Routes do vary from week to week. This no drop, fitness pace ride is designed to help improve cycling fitness. We try to make sure that all ride participants are riding at the same pace in order to stay together for safety purposes, but do provide a ride leader and sweeper to ensure no one is left behind. We will typically ride to a park like Jefferson Barracks or Tower Groves to provide an opportunity for additional miles with a second loop and some pace line training. This ride is open and inclusive that allows all genders, but is focused on empowering women (and those identifying as women) to improve their cycling abilities in a safe and supportive environment.
SSC GNO “Girls Night Out” Party Pace Route Option
The party pace group is great for those that enjoy riding together at an average pace between 11-12 mph. It is a great group for strong hybrid riders and recreational road bike riders. It is designed to bring more women together that enjoy riding bikes. We also hope to provide this group with more confidence to ride throughout the city. This is a no drop ride with a ride leader and sweeper. This ride is open and inclusive that allows all genders, but is focused on empowering women (and those identifying as women) to improve their cycling confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
SSC GNO “Girls Night Out” Ride Beginner Route Option
Routes vary weekly and the ride pace is between 8-10 mph for approximately 10 miles. This is a casual No Drop Ride perfect for beginners wanting to feel more comfortable riding on roads and greenways. There is a ride leader and sweeper as well as a mechanic for support. This ride is open and inclusive that allows all genders, but is focused on empowering women (and those identifying as women) to improve their cycling confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
These are no-drop rides, meaning no one gets left behind!
Our dedicated team of Ride Ambassadors will Lead and Sweep all groups!
If you are unsure what group to ride in, ask an Ambassador in a Blue and Red South Side Cyclery kit!
Grab your friends and join us for a ride!
